Sperlonga: historical treasures between sea, nature, and archaeology
Sperlonga is not just a picture-perfect village — it's a destination where crystal-clear waters take center stage, with beaches that shift from turquoise to
emerald and a coastline offering unforgettable views. Not by chance, Sperlonga has once again been awarded the Blue Flag in 2025, a symbol of water quality,
excellent services, and environmental care.
Strolling through the whitewashed houses, breathing in the scent of sea salt, and pausing to watch the sunset over the sea: here, everything invites you to relax,
explore, and enjoy the simple pleasures of a seaside holiday.
Beyond its dreamlike beaches, Sperlonga offers countless trails for those who love exploring on foot or by bike, immersed in nature or among the area's historical wonders. From the panoramic old town with its white houses to the spectacular Grotto of Tiberius, and along paths through Mediterranean scrub with sea views… every step here tells a story.

Discover it on foot:
Is there a better way to explore Sperlonga than by following the relaxed rhythm of your own steps? Begin your walk in the historic village,
where whitewashed houses line cobbled alleyways gently sloping down toward the sea.
A perfect route is the one that leads to the National Archaeological Museum of Sperlonga, which houses the masterpieces discovered in the grotto of Emperor Tiberius'
ancient villa. Once you leave the town center, your eyes will open to the very landscape that enchanted Emperor Tiberius: cliffs plunging into the blue, hidden coves, the Grotto of Tiberius opening onto the sea, and the remains of his magnificent Roman villa.
Not far away, the imposing Torre Truglia stands guard over the headland: built in the 16th century to defend the coast, today it serves as a perfect
panoramic spot to pause in silence and gaze at the horizon.
